Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
Welcome to Parkway Elementary and the 2009-2010 school year! It's an honor to work with you and your students. Parkway's excellent staff is eager to meet their new students; we're all going to work hard for a great year.
Every school must have rules and regulations to operate smoothly. Our enrollment is approximately 327 students K-6. It takes academic knowledge, inspiration, patience, creativity, long hours, and, of course, a love of children to create an environment in which students can thrive.
At Parkway, the staff sees our relationship with students and their families as a partnership. We strive to provide the most productive learning environment possible, while maintaining open communication with parents regarding their child's progress, successes, and concerns. It is impotant to read with your child, take an active interest in daily homework assignments, show support for school activities, volunteer when you can, and help your child understand how much you value his/her education. Your support is greatly appreciated. We are here for your child. We hope you will share with us any information about your child that will enable us to meet his/her needs.
