Archery Team to State Tournament

  We will be will be well represented this weekend at the State Archery Tournament. Twelve students will shoot their Genesis Bows, provided by a grant and our CHEPTA at 10 and 15 meters. We wish all the students well!

No Referrals in January

  The students should have brought home their No Referrals in January certificates on Tuesday in their Hawks folder. Please give your child a hug and let them know how proud you are that they are following our school mission statement of making Best Choices!

Tips for Busy Parents

  As promised in our monthly newsletter, here are a few more tips for 'finding' more time with your child.
  • Find out whether your employer works with local schools. Some companies will allow employees to take some time off to volunteer at school or attend a parent-teacher conference.
  • Support our school at home or after-school.
    • Collect and send in materials for a class project.
    • Type students stories so they can have "published" books
    • Attend school events like the Dads' Pizza Night on February 24 at 6:30 in the cafeteria.
  • Exchange notes with your child. You could put a note in their backpack or lunch. Leave a notebook out where you can write back and forth with your child.
